About Us
Our Mission Statement:
To provide social support and access to information and guidance for parents and carers of young people who have a recognised disability, additional need or are awaiting diagnosis.
Who We Are:
We are a group of parents/grandparents/carers of young people aged 0-25 with a diagnosis or pending diagnoses of additional needs/disabilities. We are here to support each other through the ups and downs of life, whenever needed

After nearly 10 years at the forefront of Tissues and Issues CIC, Jackie King, has made the decision to retire.
Jackie started Tissues in 2017 to find other parent/carer's to connect with and share experiences.
A small coffee morning grew into a large coffee morning, play days, picnics, peer support and shared experiences.
We thank Jackie for her dedication, loyalty and support for many families that have walked through our doors.
Jackie's legacy will never be forgotten!
