What We Do
ALL are Welcome
We welcome parents/grandparents/carers living in Torbay and Devon. The child/ren you care for do not need to have received a diagnosis yet. We will be inviting guest speakers to some of our coffee mornings, so keep an eye on our Facebook page for information about these.
Coffee Mornings
Our coffee mornings are a chance for parents/grandparents/carers with children that have additional needs/disabilities, to come together to have a relaxed chat with parents/grandparents/carers in a similar situation. It’s a chance for you and your children to make new friends. We have a crèche with trained staff so you can enjoy a hot drink, cake and chat knowing your little ones are safe and having fun. (Siblings welcome)

Picnics
We hold picnics every school holiday, two in the summer holidays. These are open to any members of Tissues and Issues and siblings are welcome. We put on lots of activities and there is always a special surprise for the children. These have included therapeutic ponies, magicians and the Fire Brigade. If it gets a bit much for some then we have sensory rooms with blackout tents and lights etc. These are held free of charge for our families but we do ask you to bring your own lunch (tea, coffee, juice and cake provided. You do need to book for these, please see the events section on our Facebook page.
